Today, in Rs 400 crore alleged Fisheries scam, former Agriculture and Fisheries minister Dilip Sanghani gets relief as Gujarat High Court stayed order of Gandhinagar Court. Summons by Gandhinagar Court against Sanghani was issued. Sanghani had moved High Court challenging process against him by Gandhinagar Court. High Court had issued notice to state government also. Hearing of this case is scheduled post Diwali. Sanghani’s lawyer said that there was a complaint against Purshottam Solanki for demanding Rs 30 lakhs. There is no complaint against Sanghani. Investigating Officer has given clean chit to all accused. Still Gandhinagar District Court had issued orders for proceedings against all accused. Then Sanghani was a cabinet minister, so before lodging complain permission from cabinet and governor should be taken which was not taken by ACB.
