Corona virus enters schools in Ahmedabad as soon as offline education begins, DEO District Education Officer Ahmedabad Hitendrasinh Padheria orders school closure for a week.
No plan to shut schools said Gujarat state health minister Nimisha Suthar reacting on the situation.
Four positive cases of Coronavirus were reported in Navsari district today, Corona positive of 3 students out of 4 students. In Vadodara, One more student of Navrachana school, was Coronavirus infected. In Gujarat, 74 patients were discharges against 68 new cases in 24 hours of the state, highest number of 14 cases were reported in Ahmedabad, till now 8,28,495 cases were reported positive, zero death in state. 8,17,819 patients have been discharged. In the last 24 hours, 68 new cases of corona have been reported. While 74 patients have been discharged. Ahmedabad city today recorded the highest number of 14 new cases in the state. Not a single new case of corona has been reported in 1 city and 21 districts. No deaths have been reported from Corona virus today. Also, the recovery rate of the state has been 98.71 %. Not a single person was killed in Corona today.
A death was reported in Navsari district yesterday. Earlier on December 10, 3 patients were reported dead in the state. A total of 9 people were killed in the month of December. At least 8 cases of first and second wave were reported on September 20. A total of 7 patient deaths were reported from Corona in the state in October and 5 in November. Earlier, no double digit cases were reported in the state for 50 consecutive days till September 16. The state has so far received 8,28,495 positive reports on 575 active cases and 6 patient ventilators, while the death toll is 10,101. As many as 8, 17,819 patients have been discharged till now. As far as active cases are concerned, there are currently 575 active cases in the state, out of which 6 patients are on ventilator, while 569 patients are in stable condition.
