Dengue has gripped Jamnagar city into its arms. It is learnt that 1,544 dengue cases from April 2019 onwards have been registered and death toll has reached 11.
Medical team from 7 districts have been called and 4 isolation wards have been setup by Jamnagar medical authorities.
In Guru Gobindsingh General Hospital of Jamnagar shortage of bed have been exeprienced, 25 beds from Rajkot and 39 beds from private hosipital in Jamanagar are borrowed by authorities due to menace of dengue fever.
Corporators and leading persons of Jamnagar are sent on survey on msoquito breeding and told them to use fogging machine and destroy stored water.
