On Tuesday, Due to dense fog 23 Delhi bound flights were delayed and more than 10,000 passengers were affected congestion in air traffic from Ahmedabad. Even six trains were running late. Flights including three flights of Jet Airways, Air India and Indigo each and two of SpiceJet by 1.5 hours to 4.5 hours. Several fliers from the city missed connecting flights as flights to and from Delhi kept getting delayed. Indigo’s Pune-Ahmedabad, Jaipur-Ahmedabad and Ahmedabad-Goa along with SpiceJet’s Hyderabad-Ahmedabad flights were also affected during the day. Three flights on Ahmedabad-Mumbai route got delayed too. Due to congestion in traffic, six flights to and from Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi were delayed by 1 hour to 2 hours. Trains Motihari-Ahmedabad-Porbandar (5 hours), Jamnagar-Ahmedabad-Jammu Tawi (2 hours), Jammu Tawi-Ahmedabad (5 hours), Varanasi-Ahmedabad Sabarmati Express (3 hours), Okha- Jaipur (4 hours) and Bareilly-Ahmedabad-Bhuj (2 hours) among others which got delayed.
