Under the provision of POCSO The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences, first time rape and murder convict from Gujarat was given death warrant by Surat Court.
Convict Anil Yadav will be hanged in Ahmedabad on February 29.
In Surat rape and murder case of October 2018, rape Accused of 3.5 years old girl of Limbayat was brought to Gujarat from Bihar.
Accused Anil Yadav after rape and murder of 3.5 years old girl had fled away to Bihar. He switched off his mobile for 2 days, when he turned on the mobile to place new sim card for communication Surat crime branch could trace his location based on mobile signal and resolved the case.
Accused Yadav has confessed his crime.
Surat Crime Branch has taken custody of accused Yadav and brought him to Surat from Bihar on Transfer Warrant.
