Dayashankar Singh expelled BJP leader arrested from Bihar for objectionable remarks on Mayawati

Today Controversial ex BJP leader Dayashankar Singh, who made objectionable remarks on ex Chief Minister Mayawati, was arrested by the UP police with the help of the Bihar police. Dayahsankar was wanted in connection with an FIR lodged with the Hazratganj police on July 20 at Hazratganj under the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act for passing “derogatory” comments against Mayawati. Senior superintendent of police (SSP) Lucknow Mail Saini however said that police had procured warrants in two old cases pending against Dayashankar. He was arrested at Sugar Mill Colony in Buxar. He who originally hails from Buxar district, spent his childhood and had his education in Uttar Pradesh.

After his objectionable remarks on Mayawati the BJP expelled him from the party. A case was lodged against Dayashankar who has been hiding since then. However, he was recently spotted offering prayers at the famous Shiva temple of Deogarh in Jharkhand.
