Today in Gandhinagar, Ramanlal Vora, cabinet rank of Minister for Social Justice; Empowerment from Gujarat while defending the government said that this is not the time to play politics and it is have human approach on Dalit atrocities in Una. Vora said government has taken all necessary action and arrested 8 accused and 3 police have been suspended. Dalits have been given compensation upto Rs 1 lakh. Gujarat government has appealed Dalits and people to maintain silence and not take any unwanted action. He called the incident as unfortunate. This matter is very sensitive.
