Today, Tibetan spiritual leader and Nobel peace prize winner Dalai Lama visited Surat city of Gujarat state. Dalai Lama first time visits Gujarat. he feels his mind filled with thoughts of Nalanda Monastery , as ancient Buddhist Monastery. That is an ancient Indian institute. He calls Indians as his “Guru” said at Surat airport. “We are Chelas (disciple or proteges). So as a simple Chela I would like to express my greetings and appreciations to our Guru,” he added.Dalai Lama is on his two-day tour to receive ‘Santokba award’ for his social work. Regarding conversions he said, forceful conversion is not good, as per sources.
