Cyclonic storm Nisarga intensified with epicenter around 425 kms away from Surat. Cycone heading towards Maharashtra and likely to hit Maharashtra coast. Navsari district administration alerted to prevent from effect of the Cyclone. 6000 strong Village Onjal and Machiwad village alerted and fishermen advised not to venture in the sea.
Weather agencies predicted Cyclone to hit Mumbai between 2 to 3 pm and its effects could be experienced upto 6 to 12 hours. Sea will have high tide wave upto 1 to 2 meters.
