CREDAI Ahmedabad to organise 18th GIHED Property Show from January 5-7

Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel to inaugurate the Property Show at 10:00 am on January 5

Ahmedabad: CREDAI Ahmedabad, formerly known as GIHED CREDAI, will organise the 18th edition of the GIHED Property Show, the biggest property show in Gujarat, from January 5 to 7 at Ganesh Grounds in Ahmedabad.

The exhibition will showcase over 400 residential, commercial, warehouse, weekend villas, and plotting projects from various parts of Ahmedabad, presented by 60 leading developers in the industry. Financial institutions are also participating in the exhibition and will offer loan approvals on the spot.

Dhruv Patel, President of CREDAI Ahmedabad, said that since its inception in 2005, GIHED Property Show has emerged as a one-stop solution for property buyers and investors from across the city and beyond to explore detailed information about projects across different segments.

“The 18th GIHED Property Show will provide a unique opportunity for hassle-free property transactions for buyers and investors. The event will showcase projects from various categories and budgets, offering buyers a diverse range of property options that fit their budget and preferred locations. It will also offer a glimpse into the city’s vibrant real estate market,” he said.

Chief Minister Shri Bhupendrabhai Patel will inaugurate the 18th GIHED Property Show at 10:00 am on January 5. Minister of State for Home Harsh Sanghvi will be the Guest of Honour at the inauguration.

As part of the 25th-anniversary celebrations of CREDAI National, an MoU will also be signed in the chief minister’s presence to initiate Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives in collaboration with CREDAI Ahmedabad members. The initiative aims to have a far-reaching impact on the health and well-being of the city’s residents. Initiatives contributing to the preservation of the environment will also be undertaken.

CREDAI Ahmedabad also announced an initiative to end the practice of quoting super built-up area in property transactions.

“Until now, property transactions take place on the dual selling method of RERA area and super built-up area, which is being done away with. From now on, the property will be quoted in the box price and only the size as per RERA area will be mentioned. Only the methodology of calculating property size is changing and there will be no change in property prices because of this,” Mr Patel said.


Describing the move as customer-centric, he further said that it will allow property buyers to make an apple-to-apple comparison about the size and features and decide accordingly. He said that this is a game changing & clarity giving customer-oriented move and will bring greater transparency in the real estate sector. The decision is timely considering the rapid expansion of Ahmedabad and will help attract more investments to the real estate sector.

The government is undertaking various infrastructure projects and public transport projects such as BRTS and Metro in Ahmedabad to accelerate the city’s growth. Moreover, the growth of the services sector and industries has contributed to attracting thousands of people from across the country to the city. The development of GIFT City when Ahmedabad is on its way to become a Sports Hub of the country, there has been an increase in the interest in Ahmedabad’s real estate.
