Today afternoon, a massive Crane breaks off and falls between Platform Number 1 and 2. This crane was used for demolition work that going to do away with old Railway overbridge joining Kalupur and Saraspur at Kalupur Railway Station.
Demolition work was carried with precautions of shutting off power and clearing traffic from nearby place, no life loss was reported in this incident, inform DRM at Ahmedabad.
Due to Crane obstruction on Platform number 1, 2 and 3, trains arriving at Ahmedabad station are getting diverted to Platform number 4 to 12. Trains ariving at Ahmedabad station will be diverted to other platforms only after getting proper signal.
