Today morning Coronavirus Vaccine Covishiled from Serum Institute Pune arrived at Ahmedabad Airport.
Gujarat deputy chief minister Nitin Patel flagged off the van carrying vaccine to gandhinagar. Dy CM was accompanied by Pradipsinh Jadeja and health officer Jayanti Ravi.
Minister Patel addressed a press conference on availability of the vaccine.
Stock of the vaccine will be supplied to 13 cities in India.
Vaccine will be taken from Ahmedabad Airport to Gandhinagar storage. Green corridor will be taken to Gandhinagar. Police will be deployed on the entire route.
Big announcement from Serum Institute of India
The cost of one dose of vaccine is kept at Rs. 200. One person has to take two doses of vaccine and pay Rs. 400 under vaccination. 3 crore employees will get free vaccine.
