Ahmedabad: Nursing staff observes strike at LG hospital for not getting salary on time.
LG Hospital is located in Maninagar area of the city.
80 Contractual nurses are on strike since last 3 days. Patients in LG Hospital are facing difficulty due to strike of Contractual nurse.
As a last option nursing staff was forced to be on strike due to delay payment of salary.
On the other side due to spread of epidemics due to waterborne and mosquitoborne diseases and rise in cases of swine flu, dengue and malaria has put health department on run.
Also, the waiting time to get treatment by pateients from 1 to 2 hours has risen to 3 to 4 hours in the hospital.
