Today in Gandhinagar, Ramanlal Vora Speaker of Gujarat Assembly apologised to Congress MLA Tejshree Patel over insulting remark to her. During Assembly Session Tejashree MLA of Viramgaam started crying when Speaker made a remark to her saying that you do not get oversmart.
Both speaker and MLA talked to media after the incident in Assembly Session.
Tejashree said that during the session I was trying to put my point which I felt should be allowed to speak. I was dejected with the comment of speak of calling me oversmart.
Speaker Ramanlal said that when I got message through my office about her feeling bad. I clarified that we are actually practicing to respect women and not just preaching. My intension was not to hurt her, in anyway.
