Today in Gandhinagar during Assembly session, Congress MLA Punja Vansh was suspended from the Legislative Assembly House for 7 days for using Non-Parliamentary words for Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi.
BJP chief whip Pankaj Desai raises Point of Order. At time when Congress MLA Punjabhai Vansh used Non-Parliamentary words for Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi during a discussion, BJP members started rioting and demanded suspension of Punjabhai Vansh. The commotion lasted for about 10 minutes. Revenue Minister Rajendra Trivedi had proposed to suspend but Assmbly Speaker had appealed not to take matter further as an apology had been sought by Punjabhai.
Former Gujarat home minister Pradipsinh Jadeja and deputy chief minister Nitin patel stood by BJP leaders on the issue and said that what message we are tyring to convey to the society.
Congress MLAs and leaders have held urgent meeting and said that BJP is doing such tactics to create atmosphere of fear.
Gujarat Home Minister Harsh Sanghvi gave his speech on the issue and tried to clarify allegations of Congress MLA Vansh.
