Today Leader of Opposition Shehzad Khan Pathan from Gujarat Congress and other AMC Councillors including Jagdishbhai K rathod, Akbarbhai Bhati,Hajibhai S Mirza,Ramilaben Parmar,rajshriben T Kesari,Madhuriben D Kalapi and Imtiaz Husain G Shaikh held a press conference in Ahmedabad on AMC Ahedabad Municipal Corporation Budget for year 2025-26.
LOP Pathan while reacting on the budget said that ruling BJP government has failed to provide amenities to citizen of Ahmedabad city. Leader of Opposition backed by other Congress party Councillors developmental works worth Rs 523 crores and amendment worth Rs 810 crores in the AMC proposed budget and proposed a final budget of Rs 16312 crores Budget.
Congress leader Pathan n particular criticised BJP over property tax reduction, free entry to amusement park, buiding of 21 Pink Toilet for women, Khokhra bridge and closer of free medical service by VS Hospital
Gujarat Congress spokesman Dr Manish Doshi, Hiren Banker and Bimal Shah supported proposal of Congress Councillors on AMC Budget for year 2025-26.
