After recent heavy rain Gujarat in last 2 days, Commendable rescue operation by NDRF team in Navsari district was carried out. NDRF National Disaster Response Force team rescues 4 people during rescue operation in Sadakpore and Golwad village.
Till now in Tapi district, total assistance of Rs. 12,8,617 has been paid to local citizens within 8 hours said DD Kapadia DDO District Development Officer.
In which02 human deaths happened, four animal deaths, 116 families, 27 huts, 19 totally damaged mud houses, 2 Totally damaged mud houses, 60 Partially damaged mud houses.
Houses, 11 partially damaged paved houses, survey in all these cases and payment of compensation has been made. Cash payment has also been paid to 339 displaced families.
