Cold wave continues north India its effect could be experinced upto Rajasthan with Mount Abu remains sub zero with temperature falling to minus 1 degree celcious that is 6 notches below normal. Mount Abu is the only hill station of Rajshan. On Sunday cold wave conditions revived in Rajasthan and temperature of Mount Abu found below the freezing point. Last night, the lowest temperature at Mount Abu was recorded at minus one degree Celsius, 6 notches below normal.
As per weather report at many places in the state Mercury fallen by one to four degree Celsius with north-westerly winds adding to the chilliness in the state. Sikar experienced the coldest night of the season with a minimum of 3 degree Celsius, followed by Srigangangar 3.6, Udaipur 4.4, Churu recorded minimum of 3.4 degrees, Pilani and Bikaner 6.8, and Jaipur 7 degree Celsius. Weather experts said Fresh western disturbance is likely to struct Rajasthan by tomorrow which may push mercury up giving little respite from cold wave condition.
