Class 9 student brutally killed by class 10 student in Vadodara
In Vadodara, a 14-year-old boy Dev Bhagavanbhai tadvi class 9 student was murdered in a school in the walled city on Friday afteroon, in noon shift of the school.
Dev was staying with his maternal uncle and taken admission in the school 4 days before only.
The student’s body was found in a pool of blood in the washroom of Shri Bharti Vihdhayalaya in Baranpura area at about 11.30 am.
The police said that two of the victim’s schoolmates are in the list of suspects.
It is believed that one student Mayank of Class 10 pulled victim Dev to the toilet of school on first floor and starting blowing on his head and chest with butcher’s knife and a rod used for cutting the ice.
It is also believed that there was a fight upto 15 to 20 minutes between victim Dev and attacker Mayank.
Two eye witness boys started shouting on seeing the Dev being brutally beaten in toilet. On hearing shouts of two boys other school staff and students rushed to the spot.
Teachers immediately called 108 Ambulance, who declared Dev as dead.
Many parenst rushed to the school, on getting news of murder in school of class 9 student. Baranpura police had to lathicharge to control parents rushing to school.
From bag of accused student water with chilli powder, 2 panch and 2 text books were found. Text books belong to some other boy who gave his books to Mayank.
After assaulting Dev, accused threw his bag in the balcony of nearby temple and quickly ran away. Police is hunting for Mayank.
Attacker senior student arrested from Valsad based on CCTV footage from cameras installed in school. In CCTV footage 1 boy is seen pulling other boy to toilet.
One theory says victim Dev Tadvi refused to have anal relation with senier student.
Gujarat CM office and Women and Child Develpment Ministry of Gujarat seeks report in the case.
