In wake of upcoming Kite Flying festival use of Chinese Ballons have been banned in Gujarat. The Gujarat High Court has observed that Chinese Ballons flown during Kite Festival night and evening becomes harmful and dangerours to houses of poor people.

Gujarat High Court has ordered state government to ban production, use and sale of Chinese Ballons in the state.
