Today Chief Justice of Gujarat High Court Sunita Agarwal and Minister of Law & Justice of Gujarat Rushikesh Patel launched a new Website and Mobile App Application for Bar Council of Gujarat and ‘Gujarat Law Herald’. On the occasion, Minister Rushikesh Patel gave away a cheque of ₹5 crores on behalf of state government to Bar for welfare of lawyers. Advocate General Kamal Trivedi and chairperson of the Gujarat Bar Council, JJ Patel, were present at the event.

On the occasion, a book comprising of 80 significant judgments by Chief Justice Agarwal was also launched by the Bar Council of Gujarat.Chief Justice expressed her gratitude for the book launch containing her judgments. She emphasized the significance of maintaining coordination between the bar and the bench to strengthen judiciary system and maintain dignity of the legal code and judiciary system. She urged timely resolution of cases to ensure justice and highlighted the need for honest efforts in their work. On the newly launched Website and Mobile App Application, Patel emphsised that in the modern times, it is essential to keep lawyers updated about latest proceedings and their status. With the advent of new Website and Mobile App will facilitate lawyers in Gujarat to access judgments from the high court and the Supreme Court, as well as state and central laws, at their fingertips whenever needed. He also encouraged the use of new technologies like AI Artificial Intelligence. Judges of Gujarat High Court, vice chairperson of the Gujarat Bar Council MC Kamdar, executive committee chairperson ND Patel, Bar Council of India member DK Patel, council officials, and a big group of lawyers and people affiliated with the legal and judiciary system attended the function.
