Ahmedabad, Gujarat: Ellisbridge MLA Amit Shah said “This is a matter of pride for all Hindus of Gujarat. The founder of Hindu Samrajya, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s statue will soon be installed in Tokyo Japan. This statue has arrived in heritage city of Ahmedabad at Vasant Chowk in Bhadra area which was greatly welcome by people of Ahmedabad.
A reception was organised as the chariot of the statue reached Ahmedabad. Former Ahmedabad city mayor Amit Shah ad present Ahmedabad Mayor Pratibha Jain garlanded status of Chhatrapati Shivaji.
Maharashtrian people gathered on the occasion and performed puja of Shivaji statue with rituals.
