While a few Bollywood actors have played cameos in Hollywood flicks, Deepika has landed a meaty role in the film. The excitement for the next film in the Hollywood franchise ‘XXX’ skyrocketed in India ever since it was announced that Deepika Padukone will be a part of it. The first look poster featuring the film’s lead star Vin Diesel and Deepika added to the eagerness for the films, which is titled ‘XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage’.
And now, the onscreen pair has further teased the fans with a short behind-the-scenes video on Instagram. In the video, shared by Diesel, the ‘XXX’ actor is seen standing shirtless with Deepika besides him with a hand on his shoulder. Diesel says in slow pace, “You will be entertained”. Deepika responds with an amused expression and showing the victory sign. ‘XXX: The Return Of Xander Cage’ also stars Samuel Jackson, Nina Dobrev and Jet Li. Directed by D J Caruso, this is the third film in the ‘XXX’ franchise after ‘XXX’ (2002) and ‘XXX: State Of The Union’ (2005). This is Caruso’s first association with the franchise.
