Today Amit Shah BJP Bharatiya Janata Party National president of ruling while speaking to news agency said that Anandiben Patel has proposed to step down long back. She also talked to me even at party executive in Prayag. Today morning she has sent a letter to me in this regard and expressed her wish that she is completing 75 years in coming November and because party would appoint new person on completion of her 75 years, the new person should get sufficient time. Anandiben has urged to step down and I will place her letter before parliamentary board. She has worked very well as first woman Chief Minister. Narendrabhai started development march in Gujarat and which was continued by Anandiben. She has described only one reason that new person who is to be appointed on completion of her 75 years should get time as general elections and Vibrant Gujarat summit are scheduled next year.
