Jagdish Vishwakarma – Minister of State, Co-operation, Salt Industries, Printing and Stationery, Protocol (Independent Charge), Micro, Small & Medium Industries, Cottage, Khadi and Rural Industries, Civil Aviation, (State Minister)Government of Gujarat, Mr. Jesal Sampat (Executive Director, Pune Gas), Mr.Bhaven Udeshi (Director – Sales & Marketing, Pune Gas) &Mr. Pratik Patel (Franchise Owner, Ahmedabad, Pune Gas).
This being their 3rd experience center in India, it marks a phase of expansion for Pune Gas, pioneers in the commercial and industrial gas systems and solutions space. Designed to meet specific needs of the fast-growing hospitality and commercial sectors in the industrial and enterprising state of Gujarat, the Experience Centre will provide a firsthand look at the latest advancements in gas systems technology. The launch comes at the onset of the festive season, making it the perfect time for businesses to explore how they can enhance operations and optimize fuel consumption.
The experience center features the flagship Smart LPG System called LPGenius which is designed to overcome common hurdles faced by HoReCa users, such as cylinder sweating and freezing, the newly launched industrial system GasTrain(also known as a Pressure Regulating System (PRS), is an essential component in gas distribution networks) and a host of other solutions and products for users of commercial gas. Here, a customer walks in with a vague idea of what he wants and walks out with complete clarity and perfect solutions for what he really needs for his business.
The inception of the LPGenius Smart LPG System and India’s first LPG-Powered Backup Generator was fueled by the dedication of the Pune Gas team to meeting the distinct requirements of the hospitality industry and commercial users of LPG.
According to reports, the LPG consumption in India reached 30,916 TMT (Thousand Metric Tonnes) in FY 2022-23, Out of which 83% is used in the Domestic cooking segment and about 16% is used in the Industrial & Commercial segment, leading to a huge gap in commercial segment because industries are still using traditional polluting fossil fuels like Diesel, Kerosene, Furnace Oil and Wood. The number of LPG distributors across India in 2023 stands at 25,385 making India the 3rd largest LPG consumer in the world.
As of 1.04.2023, Gujarat alone has 2.32 lakh commercial & industrial LPG customers!
LPG users usually lose 3 – 4 kg of LPG in a cylinder on a daily basis because of the cylinder “freezing” problem. This is because of the rampant use of the 19kg commercial cylinder which is not ideal or rather insufficient for the manufacturing process or even for restaurants and hotels. A 19 kg cylinders cannot reach as much gas as required by the burners and hence the cylinder freezes. We propagate the use of efficient LOT (Liquid Off-Take) 47.5 kg cylinders with our world class system LPGenius which is Made In India – it is proven to improve efficiency and give savings from 20 – 30% on a company’s profitability just by the correct use of LPG fuel with a smart system.
Mr. Jesal Sampat, Executive Director of Pune Gas says, “At Pune Gas, we realized our mission to empower businesses to adopt cleaner methods of manufacturing needed a catalyst that could change the way commercial and industrial users access our systems and solutions. The idea was to democratize the use of our systems, standardize them for multiple industries and eventually make them more accessible. This gave birth to Pune Gas Experience Centres, a gamechanger in the commercial gas products and solutions segment that focuses on enhanced ownership experience, accurate information delivery and grass root awareness of gas systems and solutions for small and large businesses. While electricity is a commonly used energy source, it is expensive and not the most preferred source of fuel for industries, particularly when compared to LPG. The cost of electricity in industrial use varies between Rs 8 and Rs 15 per unit whereas the LPG could cost Rs 4-5 per unit.”
Mr. Pratik Patel, Pune Gas Expereince Centre Franchise Owner, Ahmedabad, added “We are happy and proud to announce the launch of Gujarat’s first Exclusive LPG Systems Experience Centre. An Experience Center of this calibre in Ahmedabad was dearly missed all this while for something as crucial as the fuel and it’s systems that create wonderful gastronomical experiences in a food loving state of Gujarat. Right from basic spares and components to vaporizers and the revolutionary LPGenius, the Pune Gas Experience Centre in Ahmedabad showcases everything commercial and industrial businesses of Gujarat state need as far as heating systems are concerned.”
