By-Elections for vacant Rajya Sabha seats including 2 seats in Gujarat to be held on July 5.
By elections to be held as separate elections and will not be held together said Election Commission of India.
Formula for seat is (Total Seat/ election Seat + 1) + 1 (182/ 2+1) + 1 = 61.66 number 1 vote required to win one seat .
There will be a twist in Rajya Sabha Election. In case of Gujarat there is election of 2 Rajya Sabha Seats. As per above notification 2 ballet paper will be used for for 2 candidates.
So both seat will win by BJP in Gujarat.
