Bopal flyover to be opened in Ahmedabad
Bridge Connecting SP Ring Road and SG Highway
Tomorrow morning at 10:00 am in Ahmedabad, Bopal Flyover will be opened by Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel.
The Flyover will be kept open for public access from tomorrow morning. It connects SP Sardar Patel Ring and SG Sarkhej Gandhinagar Highway.
With availability of the flyover, crossing of SP Ring road and reaching upto Bopal, Ghuma and places beyond Bopal will be easy. In Western part of Ahmedabad, it will also, ease traffic congestion problems during pick hours while crossing the SP Ring road. Also some vehicular traffic could be redirected using the flyover and pass through the city using this bypass route.
The flyover is stretching upto 1.4 kms long and built at an expense of Rs 94 crores. It will be 69th longest flyover of Ahmedabad.
Layout of the flyover, was conceptualised and designed in year 2012 by AUDA Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority.
