President Droupadi Murmu presented 69th National Film Awards in New Delhi. She also conferred Dadasaheb Phalke Lifetime Achievement Award for the year 2021 on Ms Waheeda Rehman. The President said that films are the most effective medium to spread awareness and sensitivity.
Renowned Bollywood celebrites were spotted at National Awards ceremony in capital city of Delhi Women celebs turnout in Indian Ethnic wear saree. Bollywood celebs include veteran Waheeda Rehmanji, star Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon. Pallavi Joshi and Shreya Ghosal too received the award.
Alia was accompanied by star husband Ranbir Kapoor. Kriti wore Manish Malhotra designed elegant saree.
Waheedaji was another beauty to hop onto the saree bandwagon as she made a case for minimal glam in a beautiful ivory number. She brought captivating elegance to the table with her traditional style that was complemented with emerald jewellery.
