Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan breathed his last on Wednesday morning.
Actor had been admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital with a colon infection and was in the intensive care unit (ICU).
Irrfan acted in more than 100 films including Bollywood hits Piku, Maqbool, Haasil and Paan Singh Tomar. His English language films included Life Of Pi, Jurassic World, Slumdog Millionaire and The Amazing Spider-Man.
PM Narendra Modi gave tribute to the actor through his tweeter.
Irrfan Khan’s demise is a loss to the world of cinema and theatre. He will be remembered for his versatile performances across different mediums. My thoughts are with his family, friends and admirers. May his soul rest in peace.
