Today there was a fierce fight between Kunvarji Bawaliya of BJP and Avsar Nakiya of Congress for Jasdan seat of Rajkot.
In the morning Results of Jasdan by-elections were declared in which Kunwarji wins by 19,985 votes and gets 90, 268 votes against 70,283 votes of Avsar Nakiya.
With one more seat of Jasdan, total seats by BJP in Gujarat reached 100 from 99.

Both Congress and BJP were closely monitoring voting process, as Jasdan seat belonged to Congress and this time it had become prestige issue for BJP.
