Ahmedabad: Unjha BJP MLA Asha Patel passes away today. She was being treated at Zydus Hospital in Ahmedabad. Her condition worsened after she was infected with dengue. Ashaben was admitted to Unjha hospital for 2 days after dengue infection on her return from Delhi on 7th December Two days ago, she was admitted to Zydus hospital in critical condition. There she was kept on ventilator due to liver damage.
Gujaart chief minister Bhupendra Patel appreciated services rendered by Dr. Ashaben Patel as a public representative working tirelessly for soluting of public issues along by public service. He paid tribute to Ashaben.
Several other leaders, including CM, Brijesh Merja, visited the hospital yesterday. Zydus Hospital, on the other hand, has dismissed speculation about Asha Patel. According to reports, Ashaben suffered from multi-organ failure due to dengue. Ashaben’s heart, lungs, kidneys, liver and kidneys were affected. Director of Zydus Hospital, Dr. VN Shah, told that she was kept on artificial respiration. Doctors also admitted that all the organs of Ashaben’s body were running on the life support system. Most of the organs of Ashaben had failed. In such circumstances chances of her recovery were very low. While all efforts were being made to rescue her, it may be mentioned that former Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and former Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel also reached Zydus Hospital yesterday to inquire about health of Ashaben. State BJP president CR Patil also visited the hospital today. Every effort was made by the team of doctors to cure Asha Patel.
