State BJP spokesperson Shri Bharat Pandya today congratulated the State Chief Minister Shri Vijaybhai Rupani led BJP government in Gujarat for introducing a stringent law against cow slaughter, a bill for which was moved today by Minister of state for Home Shri Pradipsinh Jadeja.
Shri Pandya said this is the strictest law against cow slaughter in entire country. Shri Pandya in his statement further said, cow symbolizes unity of India. It is a symbol of our culture. We can find oneness of dharma shastra, samaj shastra and arth shastra in Gaumata. Cow is a symbol of arth kranti through svet kranti(economic revolution through milk revolution). Cow protection and cow conservation is duty of every citizen of India.
He said, in Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Gujarat, Chief Minister Shri Vijay Rupani’s BJP government has by ensuring strictest punishment against cow slaughter through this bill actually expressed the feelings of crores of country lovers, saints, culture lovers, nature lovers and jeevdaya lovers.
Shri Pandya said, Gujarat has always given direction to the country. Whether it is Swarajya movement or the path of development oriented politics with Surajya, or liquor prohibition or the strictest law against cow slaughter now. Gandhiji had given a message of truth, love and non-violence to the world. Passing of this strict law in the assembly in Gandhiji’s Gujarat has fulfilled the dreams of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and many other great persons.
Those who slaughter cows will now not just stay away from slaughter activity but even not dare to think about it. Pandya said, slaughter of cow will attract 10-year to life term punishment coupled with Rs 1 – 5 lakh fine. The offense will be non-bailable. Vehicles used in transportation of cow beef will be seized by the State government on permanent basis. Even those who have permit for transportation will not be able to transport cattle or beef during the night. Shri Pandya criticizing opposition Congress party’s boycot of the assembly house when this bill was moved said, by boycotting this bill, the Congress party has boycotted the sentiments of crores of people of Gujarat and the country who very much love our culture and the ethos of jeevdaya.
