Assembly elections in fours states of Haryana, Maharashtra, Jharkhand and Jammu and Kashmir are coming up soon. BJP has government in the center. However, for its smooth governance lead is required even at state levels. Recently, nomination BJP’s new President is likely to bring drastic changes by engaging new and young faces in his team of party activities for Assembly elections with reshuffle of office bearers.
As per sources there could be 10 new general secretaries and an equal number of secretaries.
Amit Shah’s likely team members are J P Nadda, Ram Madhav, Bhupendra Yadav, Capt Abhimanyu, Varun Gandhi and Rajiv Pratap Rudy.
From Maharashtra, either Devendra Phadnavis or Vinod Tawre, could get place in the team. Raghuvir Das from Jharkhand and Swatanter Dev Singh are strong candidates for general secretaries. Mahila Morcha chief Saroj Pande could be inducted as general secretary, said sources.
Young faces like Anurag Thakur, Poonam Mahajan, Sunil Deodhar, Rameshwar Chaurasia, Sudhanshu Trivedi, Anil Baloni, Shrikant Sharma and Mahender Pandey are likely to be party secretaries.Appoint of new party spokespersons is most likely.
Youth leader Raghav Lakhanpal is being considered for heading the Yuva Morcha. BJP vice presidentship could go to Tapir Gao, Prabhat Jha and Om Mathur.
