In Chanasma of Patan , BJP Bharatiya Janta Party Patan city was exposed for running a Gambling Den in Patan. Today Chanasma BJP president has suspended Rajesh Amrutlal Patel from the party for 6 years. Yesterday SMC State Monitoring Cell raid at Navjeevan Sports Club ( City complex) Chanasma and seized mobile, cash and gambling stuff from the site. Out of 33 accused, 8 people including Chanasma BJP President Rajesh Patel fled way the site. Raid by SMC was conducted based on a tip.
In this den financial transactions were made digitally.
On this incident Congress MLA Dinesh Thakor of Chanasma feels involvement of Chanasma Police, the job which SMC has done should have been done by the local police. In future Thakor will get the matter probed through Police, if required he will not hesitate to take to CM or HM.
