Amid Coronavirus pandemic and more than 38419 cases, today a big crowd of thousands of people had gathered at Paliad village in Kalol taluka of Gandhinagar. People from all over the Gujarat state joined in the Patotsav. Not only there was a procession with elephants and DJs accompanying it.
All social distancing norms were violated at the procession and many people found in the procession without wearing face masks. Many girls in the Patotsav procession were spotted carrying small pots on their heads. People joined in Yagna and Maha prasad consumption.

Enquiry of the matter has been given by Gandhinagar collector to DySP level of officer and regional officer. It is a question how such an event with so many people was permitted amid Coronavirus pandemic and more than 38419 cases in the state.
