Today Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel held a meeting with Ajay Vikram Singh, Managing Executive Officer of Mitsui OSK Lines Company, as part of his visit to Japan in connection with the upcoming VGGS Vibrant Gujarat Global Business Summit 2024.
During the meeting, apart from setting up company’s asset leasing center in GIFT City Gandhinagar, investments in various sectors like Technology-Driven Logistics, Ship Building were also discussed.
The Chief Minister had invited him to participate in next Vibrant Summit to be held in 2024 and also to develop Gujarat as a center for various activities of the company.
Had a meeting with Yuki Kita, President and CEO of Fuji Automatic Numerical Control (FANUC) Global Company in Tokyo, Japan and discussed about setting up the company’s unit in Gujarat. Invited him to participate in Vibrant Gujarat Global Business Summit 2024.
CM As part of ongoing one-to-one meetings with Japanese industrialists, held a meeting with Noboru Yoshinaga, Executive Vice President of DISCO Corporation, Japan’s leading semiconductor manufacturing company.
The Chief Minister Patel said that Gujarat was the first state in India to announce Semiconductor Policy and had expressed the desire to make Gujarat as a semiconductor hub. Chief Minister recently participated in the ‘Semicon India-2023’ summit organized in Gandhinagar capital of Gujarat. CM invited Noboru to participate in next VGGS 2024 and expressed hope of DISCO Corporation’s contribution in preparing an Eco-System for Semiconductor in Gujarat.
CM Met with Naoshi Hirose, Senior Operating Officer of Marubeni Corporation and discussed about setting up a Hi-Tech Industrial Park in Gujarat, which is the leader in industrial sector in the country. The Chief Minister had invited people to invest in Gujarat by participating in VGGS 2024.
One-to-one meeting was held with Ryosuke Fukase, Vice President, Nutraceuticals Business, Otsuka International Asia/ Arab Division, Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. The Chief Minister discussed the immense potential for global pharmaceutical companies to invest in Gujarat and invited them to participate in the upcoming VGGS 2024. Gujarat being pharma hub of India, discussed exploring ample opportunities of investment in the State.
