Today in Zadeshwar area of Bharuch, incident of loot worth Rs 2 lakhs at knife point in broad day light took place in a bunaglow of Ganesh Srushti society. Friday afternoon, one thief entered the house of PV Rao who is from Andhra Pradesh and works in a private company. In afteroon in Rao’s house, wife Venukumari and 7 year old child was there when thief came and demanded keys of locker at knife point. Thief stole 3 tola golden jewellery and Rs 8 thousands cash amounting to Rs 2 lakhs.
The incident happened in afternoon, has created sensation in the area. Police of C division rushed to the site and intensified patroling at checkposts and started investigation.
