Today Anti Terrorist Squad(ATS) of Gujarat Police briefed about high profile double murder case of Bharuch. ATS stated of arrest of 7 accused involved in the case killing two BJP leaders in Bharuch town of central Gujarat.
The case has been detected and registered. ATS said that initially we had no leads but through technology and human intelligence the offense was detected. Those living in Bharuch have good foreign connections and therefore logistics arrangement are easier at this place. Those detained were not ready to reveal the details during last night. Today morning they started revealing the details after which they were arrested in the night.Seven arrested by ATS out of them three are on way from Roorkee(Uttarakhand), one accused has been arrested from Mount Abu, two from Bharuch and one from Nadiad. Further investigation will be carried out by Bharuch police. Sharp shooter who played main role was Joeb alias Ilyas Joheb Ziadduin Ansari. He was hailing from Nadiad but had been living there for four five years. He is shooter. He was a driver and was driving Inayat Ayyubbhai Vohra’s car.Haider Ali Muhammad Hanif Sheikh was with Joeb, who is from Surat. He drove the motorcycle. He conducted reiki of the site. With all accused was one Saiyed Imran Saiyed Muhammad Qadri from Surat. He had played main role in escape of drug peddler Richard alias Jenfen from Vadodara. He was even arrested for that. He is one of conspirers. The incident happened through him as he was the one who took Supari.One who was involved in reiki was Muhammad Mohsinkhan Pathan. He is also from Surat and friend of Imran. Another person was one more Nisar Ahmed Maqsood Sheikh from Surat who was also involved in reiki. One who suggested the name of the victim that this person is prominent BJP worker with local intervention was Yunus alias Manjra Yusufbhai Sheikh from Bharuch. He was into operation of small time gambling den in Bharuch. At present the den is not functional but he was involved in such activities nearby. We will recover weapon as per the brief received from accused.Inayat Ayub Vora who lives in Bharuch had contacted and arranged the execution through Rs 50 lakh supari. Out of Rs 50 lakh, the sum of Rs 5 lakh was received in this case. In connection with 1993-2002 alleged atrocities, Javed Dawood Tailer (Javed Chikna) who is wanted in bomb blast case had given Rs 50 lakh supari from SOuth Africa for these killings. Investigation is on in this regard. There was a conspiracy to kill Three-four prominent persons. However they have not been able to execute their target as we have caught them. Those who were to be killed shall get protection by Bharuch Police. IG Gehlot, ATS team, Ahmedabad city crime team after their day-and-night hard work have cracked this case. Weapon will be recovered soon. Bike and Swift car used in this incident of crime are recovered. Investigation is on and we are going to hand over the accused to Bharuch Police for further procedures.
