Bang Bang!, Indian action thriller starring Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif will be released as Imax film. Bang Bang will be only second Indian film to be remastered and released in the giant screen format. Release is set for October 2 in three different languages , Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. As per reports suggest that Bang Bang will be released across a whopping 4,500 screens worldwide. It is a record in itself considering that no other Hindi film has ever been assigned this unheard of number of screens. There’s more. The film is all set to create new records in the USA, UK and the Middle East.
There is other big release of the week: Shahid Kapoor’s Vishal Bhardwaj-directed Hamlet-inspired film, Haider.
Issue over number of shows to be shared in Mumbai between Disney’s Haider and Fox Star Studio’s Bang Bang is yet to be resolved.
Owner of G-7 shows says, “Advance booking for these films has not yet started in single screen theatres .”
