Enthusiasm of Ahmedabadies to celebrate New Year 2024 has reached its peak. After New Zealand and Australia, youth of Ahmedabad is ready to welcome the year 2024. In the city, CG Road a favorite place of many youth for many years, has been blocked during New Year. Entry of vehicles on the road has been closed. Some restrictions have also been imposed on SG Highway. On the other hand, Ahmedabad Police has made strict arrangements regarding 31st to ensure that no untoward incident happens at New Year celebrations in the city.
Ahmedabad Traffic Police has issued a notification and has given diversion on some roads after 6 pm. There is a lot of enthusiasm among youth regarding 31st night celebration. Ban on entry of big vehicles after 6 pm has been implemented Also. Kankaria Carnival is going on and a large number of visitors will be coming. Routes towards Kankaria Carnival have been declared as No Parking Zone, No Stop and No U turn. Apart from this, Ahmedabad City Traffic Police has issued a notification that diversion has been given to some roads of the city. According to the announcement, road from CG Road to Navrangpura Stadium, Panchavati will be closed for heavy vehicles after 6 pm.
