Today,in wake of spread of Swine Flu in Gujarat and increasing number of cases, awareness campaign in entire state by health workers, ASHA foundation and other NGOs. More than 50 lakh houses visited, 4 crore citizens including children contacted. Treatment to 4000 close contact of patients have been traced and given treatment.
With 107 new cases of Swine Flu registered, total cases becomes 1781 in the state, out of which 692 patients have been cured.
Today’s death toll remained 6, whereas total death toll becomes 150.
