Today in New Zealand, moments ago Auckland welcomes New Year 2018 and becomes first city to receive new year. New Year’s fireworks fill skyline of Auckland.
About 1.6 million people lined the harbour, some in boats, to watch what some often describe as “the best fireworks in the world”.
Lazer lights were used from on top of the bridge during the 12-minute display to light up the harbour as a musical soundtrack pumped tunes across the water.
