Emphasising on NDA’s agenda of bringing back money.Arun Jaitley, Finance Minister has said that the government is working on to bring back black money transferred abroad. FM further added, country will not have to wait for long for bringing back black money. We have provided all information received from abroad on black money to Supreme Court as Tax havens have started giving information on black money after initial refusal on sharing details on names of Indian Bank account holders. A high-level delegation from Switzerland had held discussions on tax matters with the Indian government officials in New Delhi during February 2014.
As per sources, Swiss Federal Tax Administration has received a total of requests receivied in 2011 were 370, in 2012 were 1499 and in 2013 were 1,386 .
