Arjun Kapoor plays twins Karanveer Singh and Charanveer Singh in Anees Bazmee’s Mubarakan which also stars Anil Kapoor. Arjun Kapoor will be essaying double roles for the first time in Mubarakan. The 2 States actor’s twin avatar which he shared on Twitter on Thursday has raised expectations around the film.

Arjun is playing the twin brothers Charan and Karan in this Anees Bazmee film. Bazmee has made multiple films with Arjun’s uncle Anil Kapoor, such as No Entry, Welcome and Welcome Back. This time around Bazmee has roped in both Arjun and Anil for this upbeat comedy. Arjun is donning the role of a sardar for the first time in Mubakaran. As such, he has had to go through intense preparation to play the part. Infact Arjun’s Punjabi was on full blast in the recent episode of Koffee With Karan where the actor broke into Punjabi when he and Varun Dhawan were challenged by Karan Johar to enact a situation in any language of their choice except Hindi.
Mubakaran whill be shot for the most part in Chandigarh. The remaining portions will be canned in London. Apart from Mubarakan which is scheduled to release on July 28, next year, the actor will also be seen in Half Girlfriend, the cinematic adaptation of the Chetan Bhagat book of the same name.
