Today in Delhi, During hearing on implemention of National Food Security Act in Gujarat, Supreme Court slams Gujarat Government.
Taking exception to the Gujarat government’s stand that it had not implemented the food security act since it had some issues with the law, supreme court bench of justice Madan B Lokur and justice NV Ramana asked: “You have to tell us whether you believe in parliament of India or law passed by it. If not, then why?”, “Do you want to break away from the Union that you did not implement a law made by the Parliament?”
