In Ahmedabad city, Terror of lurking elements has increased near platform No. 12 of Kalupur railway station. Taufiq and Bhanja dada gang kidnapped and beat up a railway coach attendant and demanded a ransom of Rs 50,000. The gang members called the young man’s friend and asked him to bring money. When he refused to do so, the gang members broke his left hand and due to which he was admitted to Shardaben Hospital. Kalupur Railway Police has registered a case against the accused and started investigation.
Ashish Vinodsingh Kshatriya works as a private coach attendant in different trains at Kalupur railway station and lives in Atak apartment in New Nikol area. A young man named Manish Gupta works with him on a contract basis. On Friday afternoon, Manish called Ashish to say that he has some work with him on platform number 12. Manish came back to the office from Gomtipur as Ashish was standing with four to five lurkers. After finishing his office work, he got up at 1;30 pm in afternoon to buy short gloves on the sidewalk over Salangpur bridge. Then two bikers came and picked up Ashish with them on bike.
Manish stabbed Ashish in his back and threatened to kill him. The accused took Ashish to a room with a sheet and beat him. Manish took everything saying “Tera purse Bhanja dada ko de de”. Ashish was beaten again by a person who was crying and begging him to leave. This person said “You don’t know me, my name is Taufiq, I am a dada here, even police is afraid of me, I have stabbed police even”.
