Yesterday after protest against CAA Citizenshp Amendmend ACT in Shah-e-Alam area and incident of stone throw, attack on police officers on duty, today Gujarat Home Minister Pradipsinh Jadeja held a press conference.
Similar incidents were reported in Vadodara and Rajkot. In Vadodara, people started protesting against CAA and throwing stone on police. In Rajkot and Surat , section 144 was imposed with memorandum by Police Commissioner.
Minister Jadeja held local Congress leaders responsible for disturbances in Ahmedabad. Congress is behind disrupting peace in the state added Jadeja. No instructions are given for stopping of Internet service. However police is instructed to deal firmly with the incident. 58 persons have been detained till now based on CCTV footage. Congress corporators conspired to attack police said minister.
