Anandiben Patel’s letter to Amit Shah for contesting in elections
Today former Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel decided not to contest the upcoming Gujarat Assembly elections 2017. Anandiben wrote to a letter to BJP Bharatiya Janta Party president Amit Shah requesting to give opportunity to other party worker from Ghatlodia area, generally young party worker aspires to become corporator, win at Panchayat election, become MLA or MP.
I am greatful to the party for having shown faith in me and allowing me to serve as a lady chief minister of Gujarat for two and half years.
Party has given me opportunity work as chief of Mahila Morcha and supporting from Patan and Ghatlodia constituency.
At the age of 75 I decide to quit from the post. However, I serve the party till may last breathe.
There are lot of speculation of Anandiben writting to Amit shah for not contesting in Assembly elections.
Today’s event has heated up Gujarat politics.
