VIDEO OF ANANDIBEN PATEL REVIEWS PROGRESS ON GATISHEEL GUJARAT WHILE IN VADODARA
Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel said that the officials should come out of ivory towers and inclusively resolving the grievances of the citizens with emotions and achieve the goal set of Gatisheel Gujarat.
While her stay at Vadodara during day condcuted a review of works done by the Collectors, District Development Officers and Police Superintendents on progress made on Gatisheel Gujarat. CM instructed to work in stipulated timelimits by the planned use of Swachhta Nidhi through Public Partnership by initiating the construction of toilets in each houses of the State Because, this sensitive matter has been attached with my emotions. This is the subject of my personal interest, she added.
CM gave indications of hard steps to put control on nonsocial elements by police. She informed that in coming years 12000 recruitments will be made in police department to combat liquor gambling from the society. While showing contempt to the vice of liquor she said that mostly crime happens due to liquor through which harassment to women increases that cannot be tolerated.
Mrs. Patel took detailed review of each objects of the Central Gujarat to improve quality of education, assistance to old-destitute-widow women, Jan Dhan Yojna, Skill Development, implementation of the scheme for tribal families-women, law and order, extent the Doodh Sanjeevani scheme, employment creation, health-care for malnourished children, e-learning and computer education in schools, women animal husbandry along with human development index etc. While giving suggestion to the officials she said that no file should remain pending at the table of the officer. Due to the mass pile-up of the files grievances of people could not be resolved, which is not a good practice.
She suggested the officials to fulfill “the goals of Gatisheel Gujarat” with humane sentiments and a team work from top to the bottom. She instructed the collectors to make branding as to recognize each talukas of their district.
While reviewing the door-to-door garbage collection in the cities and as well as villages, she said that only with awareness of cleanliness in the citizens, the dream of Prime Minister will be fulfilled.
On this occasion Energy Minister Saurabh Patel, Chief Secretary DJ Pandian, Additional Chief Home Secretary GR Aloriya, Additional Chief Secretary Arvind Agrawal, Secretary RC Meena, Rural Development Commissioner V. Thiruphugal, Mona Khandhar along with Senior Secretaries with Vadodara Municipality Commissioner, Officials, Police Officials of Vadodara also were present.
