Today, Gujarat Chief Minister Anandiben Patel at lays foundation stone for Narmada sub-minor canal network at Surendranagar district’s Bamanva village and starts work towards sub-canal for Narmada waters.
CM informed that state Cabinet Ministers have launched the work for subminor canals at 17 villages across 9 districts of Gujarat. Therefore, Network of subminor canals will channelize Narmada waters directly to fields and provide seamless irrigation to over 5 lakh hectares of land.
